This week, we started the 3rd version of the continuing education program “Seismic design of industrial facilities”. The instructors are structural engineers Dr. (c) Carlos Peña, M.Sc. Cristian Urzúa, Ph.D. (c) Miguel Medalla, Ramón Montecinos, and Dr. Rodrigo Astroza.

In this program, we cover topics related to seismic design and analysis of steel structures, silos, tanks, port structures and wharves, retrofitting, and seismic demand.
