The 7th edition of the International Conference on Experimental Vibration Analysis for Civil Engineering Structures (EVACES2017) will be held at the UC San Diego campus in La Jolla, CA (USA) on July 12-14, 2017.
EVACES2017 aims to bring together engineers, scientists, researchers, and practitioners to provide a forum to disseminate and discuss latest developments and achievements in all major aspects of dynamic testing of civil engineering structures, including instrumentation, sources of excitation, data analysis, system identification, monitoring and condition assessment, in-situ and laboratory experiments, codes and standards, and vibration mitigation.
Keynote lectures are given by Professors Guido de Roeck (KU Leuven), Tracy Kijewski-Correa (University of Notre Dame), Kenneth J. Loh (UC San Diego), Costas Papadimitriou (University of Thessaly), and Hoon Sohn (KAIST).
Professor Astroza is member of the organizing committee and will be presenting two papers:
- System identification of a base-isolated building using seismic data (co-authored by Gutierrez, G., Repenning, C., and Hernandez, F.)
- Nonlinear finite element model parameter estimation including modeling errors (coa-uthored by Alessandri, A., and Conte, J.P.)
